For individuals who are looking to work full-time and pursue their MBA simultaneously, part-time study is the optimal choice.
There are a number of benefits to studying part-time. Part-time study allows working professionals to balance school and work commitments while ensuring a steady stream of income to support further education. Additionally the skills learned in the classroom can be immediately applied to the workplace. Take it from Kris Probodiak, a current Schulich part-time accelerated MBA student, “I attribute the new position I’m now in at work in part to that exposure and learning.”
Schulich’s part-time MBA is one of the most flexible programs in Toronto. There are a number of study options:
Evening classes from 6:30-9:30pm at the Nadal campus (King & Bay). All core courses (the first 5 terms) guaranteed at this location. Some flexibility is required for the elective series as courses are offered at both campuses and in evening and weekend formats. September start only.
Alternate weekends. Classes are offered every other weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) from 9am-4pm on at the Keele campus. All core courses (the first 5 terms) are guaranteed in this format. Some flexibility is required for the elective series as courses are offered at both campuses and in evening and weekend formats. September start only.
Evening classes from 7-10pm at the Keele campus. All courses core and electives courses can be taken at this location. Classes start in September, January or May.
The program can be completed in 10 terms (approximately 3 years). If your circumstances change, it is possible to switch between full-time and part-time study during the program.
