Important Notice for International Students

Attention Fall 2013 start international students. Please review the following release from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) regarding a current strike that impacts visa application processing. We encourage you to follow CIC’s advice and submit your study permit and/or temporary resident visa applications as soon as possible.

Alert – Strike Action

The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas.

Posted processing times for both temporary and permanent resident visa applications do not take into account work stoppages.

Anyone applying for a visa should anticipate delays and submit their application as far in advance as possible.

Contingency plans are already in place to ensure all offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service. Priority will be placed on urgent humanitarian applications.

CIC continues to closely monitor the situation.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Vidhan and I am from India.
I have noticed that Full time MBA of your school matches my expectations and can really bolster my career, helping me achieving my goals.

However, I have my toefl scheduled on 25th Aug 2013. Since I am planning to apply before 1st Sep 2013, I am not sure whether my official score will be available by then – I expect not.

Please confirm if I can send the score (toefl) later.

    Thanks in advance.
    Vidhan

      Hello Vidhan,

Yes we can accept the TOEFL score later. It usually takes about 30 days for the score to reach Schulich.

      Be Well,
      Renice
